        fight breakin out

        southpaw namibia can punch

italy's style of defense will get him clobbered in the pros. he pulls back / away almost exclusively.
with his legs, and his upperbody / head. scary habit.

Good start to the afternoon. Italian should get the W comfortably.

            nice feet on the kid

if they can change his habits he could make a decent pro.

the crowd was cheering like it was a pro fight, lol, sensing when namibia was turning up the heat and landing hard shots

i cant get over the love taps counting as much as a huge punch

The crowds already look a lot better then the last Olympics.

              Good stuff.

Yeah that fight was much more closer than an 18-7 score suggests. This scoring system favors outside volume punchers.

It's a huge difference for sure. In 2008 it legitimately felt like amateur boxing was dead.

It was sad seeing every fight at a huge arena with nobody there.

British crowds love boxing. Say what you want about the ceremony, but we have great crowds.

In fact the ceremony had a lot of hints to British things that others seemed to have missed, which is good for a talking point of view.
