Comments Thread For: Sakio Bika Eyes Danny Green, Even at Cruiserweight

At least one Australian boxer wants a crack at Danny Green - and for once it's not Anthony Mundine.

Former super middleweight world title contender Sakio Bika has thrown down a challenge to three-division world title winner Green, following the latter's fifth-round stoppage of American Danny Santiago in Perth on Wednesday.

Green, 39, is undecided about whether to continue his illustrious career, though there is talk he could fight WBA light-heavyweight world champion Beibut Shumenov.

I forgot Bika was an Australian national, it's kind of like Bute being a Canadian national.

I think he has a good chance of landing the Froch bout at his preferred weight.

I think if Bika can carry the weight well it would be a good fight. BTW, Bika stopped Davis in the 10th round.

        screw going up to CW
Bika is a tough fight for the guys at SMW though
he can't beat any of the top guys, but he can test them
thought he was considered for a Froch IBF defense
he should focus on that, it can be a good war
