Not sure how much a chance Lundy stands. I've only seen his fights versus Diaz and Williams. With Diaz, even with the ko, I can't say I was very impressed. He seems to be an alright fighter, but not as quick as Broner, not as fluid, doesn't punch as hard. Kept his hands low in that fight, and his arm length allowed him to keep a fair distance between himself and Diaz, but when they were in close his defense (which appeared to be based on distance more than upper movement) didn't look good. Diaz caught him a lot more in close proximity.

With Williams, he looked sharper actually, much in part to Williams and even then he got dropped in the first round (hit the canvas versus Diaz too). In any case, they're going to try to counterpunch each other, which may look boring to some, but I see Broner landing the harder, crisper shots. Plus Lundy doesn't look like he takes clean shots all too well. I think as soon as Broner hits him with that one hard, clean shot (maybe a left hook on the temple), he probably staggers him, and then he'll finish him. But I'd still like to see it, it's an interesting fight, even if I think I know the outcome already...if that makes any sense.

Exactly. Beltran is no push over and everybody at the Wildcard gym is saying he's in absolute beast mode right now. It seems like Lundy is focused on Broner moving up and a rematch with Molina instead of his opponent tonight. Beltran

Hank Lundy has a cold chin (meaning he gets dropped alot early ala tito trinidad) but Hank's style is very difficult, he just gets too bold and careless, but if he can focus the whole fight he will be a hand full - Adrian Broner is the business tho - the kid is always in fabulous condition and has an exceptional skill set.

If Lundy wins tonight hopefully the Broner fight happens in October

I like Hank Lundy but in reality the opposition he's faced is only marginally better than that of Broner. Both have yet to fight a legitimate contender, although some of the opponents that Lundy has faced have gone onto contender status and he has beaten a former titlist.

Al Haymon wouldn't let Broner anywhere near Richard Abril. Abril is tall and has an excellent jab and a great defender.

I'm a big Hank Lundy fan but he needs to not worry about Broner and worry about Ray Beltran cause Beltran is a solid contender. I say contender cause Beltran should have wins over Bogere and Ramos jr.

Thats right - he needs to focus on Beltran who was robbed in 2 of his last 3 fights against solid guys. He had Bogere out on his feet. His punches were heavier than the pity-pats Ramos jr. was throwing.
