    Ikehara vs Sosa?

    Who you fools got?

I think Ikehara takes it. No troll. Sosa claims to be healthy but every fighter does before a fight. I think Ikehara is gonna finish late.

Disappointed with the lack of interest in this match but the interest in Broner's mythic weight gain is beyond exciting.

How good is ikehara? Never seen him before. But sosa seems to be on the down slide. If ikehara is not an elite fighter he probably will lose to sosa.
Oh nd broner is a bum

Short answer is he likes to fight inside and parry punches and counter. Loves to move forward and grind it out. I think his style is great for this fight.

Is boxing becoming increasingly popular in Japan? We know MMA is all but dead there. Is boxing the next "Pride," if you will?

Love japanese boxing. They fight like mexicans and arent afraid to get hit like african americans and europeans.

Yamato Damashi bro. The reason I love it is because it's more liking to the older styles at times. USA boxing has almost become stagnant but you see tons of style differences in Japan. They are trying to find their own ways, not the ways of recent greats. Hopefully Japan can develop some higher weight talents.

Yes, ratings are steady and are even growing. People love the fact that they have home grown champions and although they aren't mega stars, they are indeed television staples at this point. As long as they produce champions from Japan it will continue to be watched, otherwise it won't. If a lot of guys just fizzled out then interest would move back to baseball or something else...... Like whaling or some ****.

I can't find the article that I had before. Sucks because it provided a ton of insight on it.
