The news of 50 Cent becoming a boxing promoter is just a few days old, but it has already caught the attention of the people over at ESPN. The G-Unit boss has acquired his promoter's license in New York and is working to obtain one in Las Vegas.

This could be leading up to one huge goal. That is getting Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in the ring for the fight of the century. Up until now nobody has been able to even come close to making this mega fight become a reality. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith believes the one person that can do it is 50 Cent.

Today on ESPN's First Take, Stephen A. and Skip Bayless talked about the possibility.

The one thing I took from this was Stephen A. Smith saying instead of harping on the 50/50 split lets split that 200 million dollar purse that we could get after the fight!!! You could have Gamboa and Dirrel on the under card to make it an all TMT fight night.. MOney everywhere......

Pac is on the decline. He has had a lot of fights and a lot of wars. In 2009 after a great performance VS Cotto, I thought it was 50/50, especially since Floyd was not as active. Now I feel Pac can't maintain his workrate which was always World level, he seems to do well but is coasting it far too much.
