On Monday December 19th at 9:00am PST in the U.S. District Court in Nevada a decision may be made that possibly changes the future of boxing in Las Vegas. Former WBC #1 ranked heavyweight contender, Baby Joe Mesi will present his case in front of Judge Douglas Herndon in an attempt to get his license back so he will be free to box in the U.S. again. The aftermath of the decision can lead to several different scenarios. Jack Mesi, father and manager of the fighter told ********* today, “The Judge will have a difficult decision to make. If we win the case we will need to be compensated for the almost 2 years out of the ring at a time when Joe was set to make big money.” Jack Mesi went on to say, “If we lose, then Joe Mesi has been held to a very high standard. Future fighters who want to box in Vegas may be hesitant to fight there because they must also be held to this high standard. Getting matches in Las Vegas may have a problem getting arranged
