They tolerated Pavlik pulling out on them without lawsuits, so they could have moved this date.

Of course Dawson gets beat badly in this mismatch but I give him points for fighting the very best at 168 and a P4P great.

When this fight was announced I said it was the "best/worst fight that could be made". I'm a harcore fan so of course I'm interested in this, but I have no plans of inviting people over. In fact my expectations are so low that I'm sure I'll say it was a better fight than I anticipated in terms of excitement. Overall I don't see how 24/7 could help it. Ward is the kind of PERSON I wish more people would be like. I'm sure if people who don't know him who watch it will like him, but I don't see him giving casual fans a good fight. They say styles make fights and Ward vs Dawson is just a nightmare for trying to give fans an exciting fight if you can't appreciate human chess. Having said that this will be one of the more important fights of the year. Most of you wont read this far so props if you have. I'm a little tipsy so paragraphs are hard.
