I dont know why so many think that if JCC wins it would be considered an upset. I understand many hate guys for "personal reasons", but a lot of the same people who hate on JCC, also said that Lee was going to expose his reckless zero defense attack. I dont care who wins personally, as i am a fan of both fighters. I just want an exciting night, and with these two, in all likelihood am going to get that.

Well said. Been a fan of Martinez for years & Chavez grew on me stepping up his comp & becoming probably the premier pressure fighter in the sport. A year ago I would have said Martinez wolfs him, now I'm not certain who wins except for us, the fans!!

You're kidding right?? Maybe Chavez Jr has a slight percentage chance because by fight time he'll be a borderline cruiserweight.lol.

The reason Chavez Jr if he (god forbid) somehow were to win would be an upset is. I've hardly EVER seen a fighter who's had close to 50 fights (does Ty Fields count?) that hasn't fought TOP opposition. Andy Lee at best was a fringe contender who's more noted for who TRAINS him than his actual abilities.

"But Chavez junior has improved". Yeah whatever. Martinez's resume in just the last 3 years obliterates Chavez Jr's career.

While Sergio is already damn near in fight shape, I heard Chavez Jr is snacking on laxatives and taking diuretic ****tails.

Have you ever heard of a guy they call ginger?? Chavez is fighting the consensus pfp #3 fighter in boxing, while he's fighting a jr welterweight at 154.

My spanish isn't great but I thought it translated to "cinnamon",lol. Love the picture Chuckguy posted of that piece of trash. Sergio's touching 40 and is in awesome shape. Meantime this pampered, flat footed, telegraphing punches, beneficiary of nepotism can't say no to any plates and he's barely 26.

Matt Vanda and Molina BEAT this guy. But some of you kool-aid sippers actually think he has a chance against Martinez? The reason he's FIGHTING Martinez is that it fits the economics and he was damn near forced to.
