50 Cent to ODLH Regarding Mayweather's Promoter

Top Rank isn't going anywhere. If anything, it will grow after Arum passes because Todd is much better at dealing with people and would be willing to work with all promoters.
Secondly, I doub't Floyd's going anywhere unless it's cool with Al Haymon. 50 can talk all he wants, but he has no idea how to run a profitable boxing promotional company. Oscar has grown his company well the past decade, I doub't 50 will be able to even come close.Comment

Oscar should be really pissed...the entire premise of GBP was to wrestle the grip of guys like King and Arum from the throats of the industry. Don't act pissed when Floyd and his boyfriend step in to buy coveted properties in a power struggle before Bob is even in the ground.Comment

50 is a joke, he hasn't even promoted a fight and already talking sh##. When he fails (no boxing background, never promoted a fight), he going to look ******.
Top Rank will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Don King fell off because he kept ripping off every fight he promoted.
Golden Boy has boxing professionals running the company and will destroy TMT if they try to battle head to head, Floyd only has so many more fights left in him, then what, this is going to similiar to Master P being a sports agent.Comment

people may know who 50 is but no one cares about him anymore the only time i hear or see 50 is when floyd has a fight coming upComment

I think it's a little short-sighted to think Floyd is the end all be all. He's got very few fights left in him and chances are that one of those opponents will be fighting under the GBP banner. So they'll likely get paid regardless. What it's really about is their stable of fighters and both companies are okay in that department. This really isn't about 50 and Oscar either. Oscar's company really didn't take off the ground until the arrival of Richard Schafer and I'm pretty sure Al Haymon has some sort of stake/influence in this new venture 50's undertaken. He and Schafer get along fine.Comment
