Mayweather Gives NO Rematches; Ask Oscar!

Floyd walked away from a $25m rematch with Oscar De La Hoya, because that was way too risky. Most that saw that fight felt Oscar won the fight. Cotto bloodied Floyd, made him fight every minute of every round, was too strong for Floyd, and had more fight left in him than Floyd bargained for. Floyd won't rematch Cotto for any amount of money; way too much risk involved. Floyd opted to fight Victor Ortiz after Ortiz got destroyed in 8 rounds to Marcos Maidana. Most fighters "want the Winner", Floyd chose "the Loser "; too much risk fighting a Maidana. Floyd made Mosley and Cotto wait for over 10 yrs before he'd fight them, hoping they were way past their prime, hoping they'd had too many wars. He nearly guessed wrong with both fighters when Mosley had him seriously hurt and nearly KO'd in Round 2, and Cotto pounded and bloodied Floyd for 12 rounds. This is also why Floyd still won't fight Pacquiao, having made Manny wait for more than 4 years; way too much risk and Manny still to close to his Prime. Floyd is all about the safest route to the bank.

This is what boxingscene has become. Posters saying Floyd should rematch ODH and Cotto, 2 guys he beat at least 8-4, because a couple of floyd hating b*tches with a column online or in a newspaper pretended floyd lost or was close to losing.

If not that, I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto-Bundrage to grab a title at 154 again.

They should have Alvarez-Kirkland/Cotto-???? as a double header split site on HBO.
It is not vacant. The french guy is the champ. And I agree with you. The fight will be for that title. The weakest of the champs. If he wins he will face Martinez if he beats Chavez. If he cant, he will go down back to 154 for two more fights.

Actually I think he is the interim champion and was going to get promoted to full champion if Pirog whent ahead with his unification fight against Govolkin but that is out of the way now. If he aint full champion I think Cotto will go ahead and fight Bundrage for the IBF belt.

FYI Floyd fought Ortiz after his WAR victory over Berto. Go back to jerking off over Pacquiao fights
