Morales might be shot, on the decline, past his prime. Whatever you wanna call it but he's still better than what he showed his last outing. He even had Garcia hurt but got wreckless. Yea I have faith in Morales.
What your not understanding is the big picture in New York for another Big Show Room for boxing. If your boxing fans then you would realize the importance of another option to the Garden in New York. Yes it will help to get things moving if ALL the New York based boys win, ya think?
The new arena is more important than the bouts on that night kids, get it!!

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that Danny Garcia (24-0, 15KOs) will defend his WBA/WBC junior welterweight titles against former four division beltholder Erik Morales (52-8, 36KOs) on October 20th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Garcia-Morales will headline an event being billed as "Brooklyn Pride" - which is going to play big role in the grand opening weekend at Barclays.

I agree that Morales is a fuking G, I loved rooting for him in the Maidana fight when everyone, including me, thought he was asking to go to the hospital and he showed his caliber yet again...
But I think what I saw during the last fight told me he's hit his expiration date. As much as I believe in him, I believe in the eventual decline even more...and I think I saw a lot of that in the Garcia fight.
I think a slightly more confident, focused Garcia finishes it more quickly.
