In year 2012, he fought Cotto when obviously he should fought him 5 years early when he was young and in his prime but he faked his retirement instead to duck him.

In year 2011, he sucker puched the great Ortiz to ensure his victory. LMAO p4p worthy win in their opinion.

In year 2010, he fought Mosley when obviously he should fought him 3 years early when he was still young and in his prime but he faked his retirement instead to duck him.

In year 2009, he weight cheated Marquez and didn't try to make weight at all to ensure his victory. What joke a p4p win in their opinion.

Now in those the same 5 years, Pacquiao fought 12 times mostly all won by ko, tko or one sided beat down. 12 > 4 at the same 5 years span. How did you do the math?
in the last 5 years that includes 2007 floyd has fought nothing but CURRENT CHAMPIONS

    Hatton-undefeated p4p top 10

    Oscar-154 wbc champ

    Jmm-p4p#2

    Shane-p4p#3 wba champ #1 ww

    Ortiz-wbc champ

    Cotto-wba 154 champ

    Manny since 2007 has fought

    David diaz-135 wbc champ

    Jmm-wbc 130 champ

    Hatton-lineal champ 140

    Oscar-no title

    Cotto-wbo champ

AND THATS WHERE IT STOPS IN 2009

    Clottey-coming off of a loss

Margo-coming off of a suspension and a loss

    Shane-hadnt won in 2 years

Jmm-38 year old lightweight still p4p top 5-many thing manny loss

Bradley-undefeated 140 pound fighter offically beat mann tho most think he won

this isnt not even debatable son..Manny hasnt done jack**** since 2009

should all be ranked over Manny
      Floyd 2008-2012

      past prime Cotto
      sucker punched Ortiz
      past prime Mosley
      weight cheated Marquez

      Pacquiao 2008-2012

Pac beat Bradley in one sided but got robbed
Pac beat Marquez fairly, no weight cheating, fight can go either way
      past prime Mosley
      17 lbs weight advantage Margarito
      one sided decision prime Clottey
      tko12 prime Cotto
tko Hatton in rd2 and retired him for good
made him quit and retired Oscar for good
      Diaz
beat the younger prime Marquez in a close fight

      How do you justify that?

If the retirement was fake, as you say, then that means floyd should never have lost his spot atop the p4p rankings because he never really retired right? Inactivity is not a rreason to lose your spot.

On the other hand, if it was real, he came back and fought the #2 p4p fighter, JMM, and beat him more decisively than Manny had. I think any fighter that returns from retirement and beats the 2nd best fighter in the world earns the right to be #1.

SInce floyd has been atop the p4p rankings, manny has lost twice, once questionably, had a draw , and got what many say is a gift decision vs JMM.

That is a strong argument for floyd being #1.

In 2012 Floyd went up to 154(not 150)and beat the #1 jww for the wba title

In 2012 Manny lost to a JWW

                  • Pacquiao took Marquez lightly? Yeah, right. He took a guy lightly who he already had 2 really tough fights with? :jerk: What a lame excuse.

Anyway, P4P rankings are hypothetical anyway. It's not like it really means much.
