    Danny Green ended a two-fight skid - and a brief retirement - with a 5th round knockout of American club fighter Danny Santiago in their cruiserweight main event Wednesday evening in Perth, Australia.

    Green (32-5, 28KO) scored four knockdowns, the last coming late in the fifth round before it was decided that Santiago (31-6-1, 19KO) had taken enough punishment.

    The official time was 2:46 of round five.

                              Were you really impressed? i understand it was a farewell fight in front of his Perth fans, i just dont see how beating up Santiago did anything for him, after 2 straight KO losses i understand he wanted to get back in the winners circle but i think an opponent with a little better resistance would have been better for Green.
