"It's a rating which, for example, a Sergio Martinez never had. It is an absolute testament to Adrien Broner. Adrien Broner is a new star, and you will see that Keith Thurman will not be far behind. Keith Thurman is another charismatic fighter who can fight.

"We are not afraid to put him in with anybody. Based on what HBO paid for the event, and the rating that it generated, it is probably the highest-rated HBO boxing event from a cost point of view and a ratings point of view in the last five or six years."

"The main event was a 3.4 rating, which is the fourth-highest rated boxing event for HBO. It was bigger than Khan versus Garcia, it was bigger than the Pacquiao delay, and this absolutely shows you that Adrien Broner has arrived and is going to be as big as they can be. This is absolutely outstanding."

Only did 1.4 Million viewers. I knew not to trust rating but asked for numbers. Ratings depend on how many else are watching TV.

So much for that 3.4 rating.

Unless 3.4 somehow means 1.4 mil viewers.

Er at 1.4 Mil... that's pretty average numbers.

Good job @ BooHoo for cracking this case. People love to blow things out of proportion.

This was why I kept asking what the rating figure actually means in numbers.

'stfu you just a god damn middleweight'. Ali probably feel sick to his stomach that Floyd a god damn midget is the cash cow instead of an elite heavyweight fighter like himself.
Ali said that because Robinson, who was part of his training camp at the time (Ali must've really hated him, huh?), tried to stop him from abusing his wife. Not because he hated guys from the lower weights.

In fact, he idolized Robinson and Armstrong.

                    Tard.

EDIT: His ****ing daughter was a middleweight
