Ok first of all, before u wanna start getting on somebody, Learn how to spell. It's not "knew" it's "new". Second of all, yes he had good skills. He used the jab very well to set up his punches. That's something fighters these days don't even have. Second of all, he viciously attacked the body. He covered himself pretty well but at the same time, when u feel someone's power and don't respect it, sometimes there's no need to. Third, he KO'd the dude (the guy has never been KO'd before and he has had alot of fights) and his counters were spot on. Yes I do believe he has alot to work on, like any young fighter, but when you look at fighters like Khan and Paulie, it's too late for them to fix their flaws. Their flaws are huge! Both have weak chins and no power. Very overrated boxing skills. Who have they beaten that really drops your jaw..... I'm waiting. And please don't say Mccloski or Juan Diaz. When u see a fighter that has good skills, you jus know. And by the look at your reply, it's obvious your knowledge of boxing is pretty simple, so I'll let this slide. Ha! You're prob one of the dudes that thought Garcia was gonna lose to khan and think Khan will win in the rematch. Simple...

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. But after going to the Ukraine and winning the title by KO Paulie deserves a bigger fight. Thurman needs to focus on continuing to win, if he keeps knocking people out he'll stay on HBO and big fights will come.

Paulie does not have a weak chin. He's taken a ton of punishment and stayed standing (ie his war w/Cotto where his face got broken). In his 2 knock out losses they were TKOs where he was stopped on his feet. Nothing weak about his chin. Now his fists on the other hand...

Paulie's a slick, slick boxer but zero power. I dont think he can hurt Thurman enough to thwart his impressive power. Thurman has enough skill and power to wear down Paulie and take him out in the mid to later rounds....

Paulie took bombs from Cotto all night and went the distance. Dude may have a fist made of paper tissue but his chin is made of titanium. What makes you think this raw green kid could even land those slow telegraphed punches on let alone stop Malinaggi?
