Though they're both past it....I'd be very interested in that matchup.

I'll go with Forrest, as long as he's worked the rust off.
I think Quartey is too straight up, too hittable, & has become fairly easy to hurt.

Very interesting fight. Both of them coming off of some wins. Should be a great fight. Just to pick I would give Forrest a slight edge.

Vern still has a really big right hand and I think it would find a home just like it did against Sugar Shane...fun match just like Vargas v. Mosley is a fun match!

Don't forget that Forrest is still a pretty good technician himself...and that Quartey's chin may not hold up...plus I don't think Forrest is that much past it...

When I say Forrest is "past it"....I don't mean to say he's shot.

What I mean -It's been 4 years since he beat Mosley.....& he's had injuries, defeats, & a whole helluva lot of time out of the ring.
I doubt he's nearly as good as he was back in '02.

prime forrest would beat quartey..but forrest looked pretty bad in his last fight..So Ill go with quartey by decision
