Price has stepped up from fighting turkish farmers to fighting a bum who has seen more floors than a kitchen tile fitter.

It seems Price record is being propped up, probably be another 12 months until he steps in the ring with someone decent, which could be dangerous as he has never faced real competition.

Not too bad of a fight IMO. Easy job for Price, and remember he has had only 13 fights.

I don't care how many fights he's had.

Rigondeaux's had 10 fights but that doesn't excuse him fighting Jason Booth. It's all about what level you're on and after 13 fights Price is on a higher level. I feared he'd fight Harrison and waste the next few fights against similar opposition.

        Would be surprised to see this go past the first minute, let alone round. If Price comes out tentatively against Harrison, it might go 2. But Harrison offers nothing and this is merely a keep busy fight for Price. I want to see Price out at the end of the year against someone like;

        Ibragimov
        Sosnowski
        Maurice Harris

lol at people giving out about this fight. price has only had 13 fights ye twats no harm in a dude with just 13 fights taking an easy fight against a guy with a bit of a name so he can pad his record a bit and build some experience ... u have to give a kid some time to build up before putting him in there with the best get him to 20-0 and then match him with wlad

You seriously just call me a twat and then spout all that shit?

' u have to give the kid some time to build up '

He's 29, not 22. He doesn't have time to waste in meaningless fights where he doesn't learn anything. If he's not being tested at this level, why would you hold him back?

The experience he can get in the ring against a durable, experienced boxer is far more beneficial than padding his record against the likes of Audley Harrison.

I like how you end it with '... get him to 20 - 0 then put him in with Wlad '. 20 fights against who? At least put some thought in to who he could fight and what sort of progression he'd take. At this rate, he'll be 30 - 0 before he's ready for Wlad.

I know Price is still a bit green, but match him up with someone who lets their hands go. I hope he vacates the British title after this.
              how about Tor Hammer?

Fresh of a prizefighter win where he beat Dallas alomst as bad as Price did and (just about) beat Kevin Johnson.

                This'd be a great match-up.

I'd like to see him thrown in with M. Perez/Ibragimov/Dimitrenko by early next year. Even Michael Sprott would have been opponent than Harrison; at least he throws punches...

Audley with a brutal straight left.

As scared as he is, if he throws that thing and lands on the chin it's a legitimate one-punch finisher. Especially against Price whose chin has been questionable in the amateurs.

                  ...Just saying.
