if the same thing happens in the rematch then what?!?

Stepping stone or no and for whatever reason, Khan chose Garcia when he probably had some other options. At that point in their respective careers, Khan was the bigger draw (probably still is, though maybe not for long) and thus by challenging Garcia gave him the opportunity to move up the economic ladder. Not saying that Garcia would never have had that opportunity had not Khan offered it, but AK was the one that did.

Didn't Tyson once say that that's how professional fighters show one another love?

Now I'm no big Khan fan. Anybody gives enough of a **** to look can see it in other posts of mine. But it would be a classy thing to do, imo, for Danny to offer Khan (who showed alot of heart and even some grace and humility in defeat) a shot at redemption. Might be smart as well, seeing as how he could ask for the biggest share of the dough in exchange for the opportunity.

If the same thing happens, good on Danny (whom I was rooting for, btw) and bye bye to a fighter who has mostly acted like an arrogant, whiny @sshole.

no rematch. Rematches should only be made if it is a close fight.

In a nutshell. Khan was already talking about how he was gonna move up to 147 after this fight, he was clearly overlooking Garcia. Why should Garcia give him an immediate rematch if he's under no obligation to do so? Garcia should weigh his options first.

Money wise, Amir at 140 helps generate more for fighters than others IMO. HBO back him, GBP back him and at least in the UK he will sell out a stadium.

TBH most fighters don't even want a rematch after they get KO'd, at least Khan does.

Because he believes that it was a lucky shot, just like many of the posters on here do. Imagine what it would do to his self-esteem if lightning struck twice...

No he shouldn't. The only reason why Garcia should rematch khan is if he's getting paid 1M+ otherwise there's really no need.

He doesn't say it was a lucky shot. He said it was a shot that Danny wasn't even looking at and that one punch is all it takes in boxing to change a fight.

Khan has never ever used the word Lucky Shot.
