Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner: DeMarco Can Be Next, Marquez After That

Adrien Broner (24-0, 20KOs) dominated and stopped Vicente Escobedo (26-4) in five rounds at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Broner was a little upset that he didn't get a chance to knock Escobedo out. As he was battering Escobedo against the ropes, Escobedo's corner threw in the towel.

i wouldnt mind seeing it at a catchweight. as long as theres no belts involved, why not? broner is big, but he's still not as big as rios. in his last fight, rios overshot the lightweight limit by 4lbs! 139lbs. rios is much bigger than broner.

I could really see alot of hype building for a potential Broner verus Rios fight.

If Broner fights JMM and Rios in his next 2 then he's going to get my respect as they are fights I think he can lose. Make them happen

I don't think Broner is ready for Marquez and by the time he is, Marquez will probably already be retired. Fighting these B fighters is one thing, but fighting Marquez at Lightweight or Jr Welter would be no joke.
