Comments Thread For: Maccarinelli Ponders Legal Action Following Doping Ban

According to BBC Sport Wales, former cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli is considering legal action against the publication which he claims advertised a product that led to him failing a drugs test. He was suspended for six months after testing positive for methylhexaneamine after beating Shane McPhilbin to the British cruiserweight title in March. UK Anti-Doping banned the 31-year-old former WBO world cruiserweight champion from all sports until 18 October. [Click Here To Read More]

I kind of feel sorr for enzo, if its true that it said it was approved for fighters and its made him fail then he should def take legal action. However if it turns out he's telling porky pies then i have no sympathy.

I just watch the McPhilbin fight and Enzo is pondering legal action? The fact that his opponent was little more then Tough Man competitor he should ponder retirement instead of legal action. No, on second thought there should be no pondering about it and he should just retire already.
