I think Cotto vs Canelo is perfect for December. Then if gets the win then sure give him the crack at Floyd. The only problem is Cotto ain't a bum and im not sure Canelo is ready for a war.

ive said it before, and ill say it again..canelo is going to be one of the faces of boxing in the years to come..people on here hate him, but you cant really blame the kid. hes accepted any fight that has been offered to him, a couple of months ago people were praising him for choosing to fight williams. its not his fault that the 3 credible opponents that he was scheduled to fight pulled out. and the fact that hes fighting josesito lopez isnt his fault..if you want to blame someone then blame the GBP for making the fight. Canelo fights anyone they put in front of him.

I'm thinking Floyd would rather fight Canelo than rematch Cotto. The latter is far more experienced than Cinnamon and poses much greater risk. Against Canelo, Floyd would make more money and Canelo is nowhere near, I repeat, nowhere near Floyd's class in terms of skill, a green light combo for the PBF. I mean, Floyd would shred this kid apart. Canelo is a solid fighter but he's essentially a belt holder created by sugar daddy Sulaiman, a fighter who hasn't had to work his way through credible opponents. Team Mayweather has to be salivating at the prospect.
