He probably should have started his career at LW, and should be going up to JWW now. But he started at SFW, oh well. I highly doubt when Broner's career is over that too many people will remember his fights against Ponce, Litzau, Perez, and Escobedo. Decent fights at the time, but he'll make his name for himself from 135-147, hopefully.

Time for him to go to LW and fight guys like Bogere, Lundy, Burns/Mitchell, DeMarco/Molina, etc. And hopefully Gamboa goes up to LW too, that could be his first "mega" type fight, like Corrales was for Floyd.

            That'd be awesomely hilarious.

yeah probably so but a first fight at 140 that would make sense, testing the waters with a 140 and the name alone would look good on broner resume. But wont happen I just rembered rios is with toprank. means alvardo wont happen either so looks like garcia is up to bat.

Sure looks like it. "It was just cough medicine and he didn't know there was something illegal in it."

For this crap, I'm glad to see Escovedo making way more than the contracted payout and team Broner taking a hit in the wallet. Now I'm just hoping it's a good fight.

Not sure why people think Broner should or is going straight to 140??? He weighed in at 133.5 for this fight, he can still make 135 for the next couple years probably. I think we'll see him fight 4-5 times at LW at least, if he stays active of course.

broner isnt going to 140. he can make 135. i dunno how many fights he will have there but he'd better get his **** together. this is a learning experience for him. i hope he learnd from it i really do. most young fighter have hiccups like this, but if u dont learn then u wll likely wind up being trash. we'll see tho.
