Comments Thread For: David Haye: Vitali Will Likely Beat Charr and Then Retire

DAVID HAYE is “ready and willing” to challenge WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.

Haye bounced back from a short-lived retirement to claim a fifth-round victory over arch enemy Dereck Chisora in London.

Now the 31-year-old wants the elder of the two Klitschko brothers next, claiming: “He’s the only fighter who can make my return a prolonged one.”

I think Vitali will make the fight with Haye.

He wants to please his fans by giving them a memorable fight, and doesn't want to follow the example of Lennox Lewis, a guy who frustrated Vitali (and a lot of boxing fans) by refusing to give a much anticipated rematch.

It bothers everyone when everyone wants to see it, he doesn't want it.

I bet Haye is more worried than Vitali that this fight doesn't happen. That's why Haye will continue yapping, even when he pretends he doesn't care if Vitali fights him. Team Klitschko decides if the fight happens, and Haye is nervous to leave his legacy where it is - the guy who blamed his toe when he lost to the champ.

It's not reallythe same thing. Klitschko hasn't fought haye and has had negotiations going several times with Haye balking each time.

Also this crap coming from Haye is is usual self promotion so that in case he gets the fight he can make his purse bigger. He always starts out by saying that people are afraid of him.....
Just cheap, schoolboyish rubbish for the fans' consumption. They swallow it.

If he does fight Klitschko you can be certain that he'll waltz around on the outside with a very occasional quick dash to flail away with a single punch at a time. He won't take any chance of staying within reach of a Klitschko punch. It'll be like the last 4 rounds of Trinidad-De La Hoya.

Vitalis and his management are scared, they don't want to start their political career after getting TKO'd by David Haye, that will be a huge setback

Vitali will take on any bum but fight someone with lighting speed hands, great footwork, body movement and power.

We all saw how Chisora was landing clean on Vitali all night, even beating him to the jab at some points, had he been a little faster, Vitali wud be in trouble

what exactly is he suppossed to do within klitschko's reach?
or do you expect him to fight on the inside despite likely grappling and 35+ weight advantage from klitschko?

wtf can he do besides use his speed from the outside?
