I don't know how this 140 weight will affect him... I imagine not too much since his fight night weight, from what I heard, is usually 143.... well at least for his last fight.

oh it'll affect him. did u see his body? its in perfect condition, not an ounce of fat to lose. hes not gonna be able to eat or drink much for the rest of the day. its gonna be hard.

let me add this is all him and his teams fault. golden boy as well. they should have moved him up. escobedo is in the total right to get as much advantage as possible.

Agreed Dempsey my man. Its more than fair, and while I agree that all fighters should come in at weight, I can understand this one, as he has been saying that he was going to move up. He more than likely tried to give it one mo go, and his body capped out at 133. To be three pounds over tells me that they were on target, but hit the growth wall close to the weigh in.

thats what seems to be the case. i mean, i know alot of ppl think hes lazy or w/e and its not an excuse but the kid is in great shape. he should have moved up. they took a gamble and failed.

Like how much does he weigh when he's not boxing? Between 140-145 he should be fine... but I have a feeling this dude normally weighs 150+.
I'm just going off of personal experience from my wrestling days.

Told you guys......Broner isn't anything special and will lose very soon, potentially this weekend. Fighting overmatched dudes doesn't make you a champion...can't wait for Broner to get shut down and his camp to explain how this once in a lifetime fighter lost.

They should start suspending fighters for weighing in over the limit at least when they are not willing to make any concessions.

They just gave Escobedo a chance to win by not letting Broner go up 12-15 pounds. He still gonna get that fresh beat down.
