Every boxing expert in the World can chime in and offer their opinion but NOTHING can change the true FACT.
Kahn got knocked out and lost the fight....period!

They can spin it anyway they want but it will NOT change the KO L to a W.
      Move on already.

Yeah I think alot of people are philosophical in defeat, Pacman like Khan had 3 losses, 2 by KO and 1 by Decision at the same age as Khan as is today.

Comparing Khans Heart to Arturo Gatti or Mickey Ward is Laughable. I give Khan a lot of credit for getting up and continuing when he was clearly on ***** Street, but neither Gatti or Ward ever ran around the ring like that. They would get backed up to the ropes when hurt and then come back and deliver their own blows that would send the other man backwards. After Garcia touched Khan, Garcia went into destroy mode and was the aggressor until Bayless called it off. Khan might of landed one or two decent shot after he was hurt, but Amir never looked like he was returning anything that would stop Garcia from attacking. Steward should show more respect for Mickey Ward and the late Arturo Gatti.

I normally like Steward and always find myself agreeing with his analysis but it sounds to me like he is covering his back here in case team Khan come calling for a new trainer.
I've got a feeling that the problem is that in the heat of battle, Khans instructions go out the window. No trainer in the world will fix that

Its a lil aggravating to hear nothing but praise for Khan after getting ktfo....Garcia has yet to be praised by anyone at HBO besides Max. Those old farts are jokes.

It's not praise, i think people don't believe Garcia is the real deal, he got picked for 2 rounds and was gettin picked in round 3 until he turned things around.

We did not see much of Garcia, which isnt his fault, but thats how things go.

Sadly people are talking about Khans mistakes rather than what Garcia did right.

The last KD he got up instantly, but he had nothing left too offer.

I think your first post was spot on, the punch that Garcia land on Khan would probably have KD most Light-welterweight, The punch land with full speed and shock in the middle of Khans pit-pat flurries and it land on his chin/neck too lol.

For me the fact that he got KD from that punch isn't a problem, and that doesn't show or prove that he has a weak chin, the problem for me was Garcia actually landing that punch, this is Garcia's signature punch so I expect Khan to be more aware of it, for me Khan's defence is his major flaw not his chin.

Steward is in business mode, he just saw the $ sign.

Who you are dictates how you should fight! In Khans case he has no real power but he has the talent to box, thats what he needs to perfect. He needs to move in and out and perfect his laterial movement. He MUST be first and punch in combination and get moving. He needs to learn who he can step away from and who he needs to move quickly away from and none of this style is easy to do. He has to be in tremendous condition and know distance and learn to READ his opponents, none of this is easy and working rounds with mitts is for distance work NOT flashing combos for fghters egos!
He needs film of Sugar Ray and Ray Leonard and any other fighter who knew how to move correctly to avoid punches and put themselves in position to punch! Its called Hit and not get Hit!!! Boxing!!! He must box he doesn't possess power so theres no alternative.
There are ways to improve power and I guess he has no one to teach him that but something tells me he's NOT a student anymore. When he wins He's Great when he loses its Freddys fault? What a crock! Ray.
