Haha do we know what his training regimen was like? Never read the book but I'll bet it was pretty old school lotta hard work blood sweat and tears sortta thing maybe mixed with a few new training techniques that fit the era

I read the book its pretty good theres alot of insight, like all fighters at the start he was been developed 6am runs 10pm lights out, skipping shadow boxing medicine ball poundings!! and rowing!! 1 of his early coaches had him rowing to develope his biceps.Theres nothing out of the ordinary in terms of training methods ray was great on the skipping rope was also a very good dancer which could be the reason his footwork was so good, ray was all about rythm he would dance his feet to the ring and dance them inside before the bell he had to feel his rythm he mentions this alot in the book.
