Understandable stance, Calzaghe made himself a respected trainer out of nothing really and some dumb haters might unfairly try to taint him because of Maccarinelli testing positive. Still nothing can take away he was 2007 Ring and BWAA trainer of the year, having created one of the greatest white fighters in history with one of the most difficult styles to beat, and trained average guys like Gavin Rees and Maccarinelli to titles
