George Groves wants to punch Kenny Anderson "on the throat" after accusing the Scot of being more annoying than James DeGale.

The rematch of their 2010 showdown, when Groves climbed off the canvas to stop Anderson in the sixth round, looks set to be staged at Wembley Arena on September 14.

If the fight falls through Groves, who faces Mexican Francisco Sierra in California on Saturday week, will still top the bill at the Frank Warren show.

Anderson gave you a tough fight, you promise him a rematch (Haven't you pulled out twice now?) then get injured and are fighting someone else now, not surprised he thinks you're ducking him.

Is it me or are they really trying to milk Anderson vs Groves for all its worth? Just fight god dammit & may the best man win.

George should be concentrating on Sierra, not Anderson right now! & should be in the USA acclimatizing at this moment in time. Sierra is no twat & will give him a tough fight over there, so to look past him is just plain daft. Having said that George allways comes across as the non bragging Gentleman & I'm sure these comments have been released by some kind of press agent.

I don't like George groves.
What He should have said is "I don't want to start bad mouthing Carl Froch because I'm well aware that he would literally destroy me inside one round"
