DLH is left handed but fights in a right handed stance, same as Cotto.

I believe the idea is to have your strong hand to be your lead and to allow your weak hand to load up on your punches.
Converted southpaw tends to have great jabs and left hooks. Cotto is the same.

yea..and Chad Dawson aint REALLY southpaw...but hey, it works for them

Well I been boxing for goin on 20 year and I never heard of this. So who decided they would fight that way. themselves? Or their trainer?

yup i think even valero was naturally right handed, but fought as a lefty..

TS, its been well known that Oscar is a lefty an a few guys fight the reverse way. Infact I think the cubans or one of the nationalities actually teach it now.

I myself am a righty who fights south an it almost seems to me the most regular people nowdays fight that way. Feels more natural, I guess. Atleast it does for me

Some people just feel comfortable standing a certain way, has nothing to do with what hand they write with...I remember going to a gym once when I was a kid, and he told me how to stand, and I stood southpaw, and the guy was kind of impressed, "Oh ur southpaw. thats cool", but when he showed me the proper way to hold my guard, it felt uncomfortable, so I stood conventional, and it felt better...its all about how comfortable u feel standing with ur hands up, combined with what hand u write with...u might feel better with ur writing hand being ur jab hand like I did
