It's surprising, to me, that so many people would be pay so much to see what is a total mismatch. Everyone knows that Chavez is going to win and the only question is whether he'll beat the steroids out of Martinez for 12 rounds, or he'll stop him early. The undercard isn't nearly as explosive as Golden Boy's either.

Chavez really needs to leave Arum, he's only holding us back with these crappy supporting casts, small arenas and, in this case, an opponent who doesn't deserve to share a ring with a fighter like Chavez.

First of all, there is no way in hell Arum would be ****** enough to charge $65for this mismatch. The fight will end up costing $34.95 at most. Second, with a free fight on Showtime, this fight will be lucky if it sells 200,000. May guess is it will do around 130,000. However, after the fight, Arum will claim that it did exactly the numbers he is giving in this article and guys like Marley and Nathanielz and Dan Rafael will run with them as if they were gospel.
