I totally agree. It's crazy how if you watch the "Assault in the ring" documentary that covers the Luis Resto scandal, you will hear Bob Arum saying "What he (Resto) did was inexcusable, he should be banned from the sport forever, there shouldn't be any forgiveness". Yet when one of his fighters does something just as bad if not worse, he fights tooth and nail to bring him back as soon as possible and gives him the biggest money fights possible. That's why I refer to him as Bob "I Have No Soul" Arum. The man has zero integrity. I personally think Margarito used illegal handwraps for all of his big wins. Why do I believe that? It's just hard for me to believe that the guy was seriously hurting and/or knocking out everybody he fought from 2007 to January 2009. But then after he got caught, he came back and fought an unranked bum and couldn't even hurt him. In fact, he was literally running away from a C level fighter. He used to be a puncher right? So what happened? I know Mosley destroyed him, but a puncher is supposed to always be a puncher whether they're in their prime or not. We know that and have seen it. You don't go from destroying top fighters to not even being able to hurt C level fighters.

Plain and simple. Antonio "Load my gloves because I have no skills" Margarito is a cowardly scumbag and I look at anyone and everyone who supports him the same way. He's an absolute disgrace, and not just to boxing, but sports period. I don't know how anyone can support him.

Margarito fought Cotto after Pacquiao so Margarito wasn't finished after he fought Pacquiao. .

Pac caused the injury to margaritos eye that made him retire. Pac retired Margarito. Margarito has to give up fighting cos of the injury Pac gave him.
Cotto showed just how bad Pac had injured Margarito. Margarito is retiring cos of what pac did to him not what cotto did to him. Cotto was margaritos last fight, but Pac retired Margarito so Pac feels guilty he had to retire Margarito.

Cotto dont feel guilty, he is just glad he has a win over Margarito.

I think it may have been that tomato can Golden Johnson where this POS started loading, but am convinced he had those hardened inserts or plaster with Cintron II, Cotto, and factually of course vs. Gramps Mosley. I wish nothing but the WORST for this b!tch made wh0re in retirement as what he did was inexcusable, not to mention the way Arum circumvented CSAC, Nevada and the ABC board by giving him a stage in corrupt Texas.

Yup. Pacquiao used those strings between his knuckles and even taped his gloves higher than usual to pack a better punch. He is also a cheat that everyone seems to look the other way when brought up with these facts.

As for Margacheato retiring - Good. He was past it already and he was done being anything of a challenge with that eye. I do hate him for cheating but wishing him a slow and painful death or whatever these Cotto groupies and stans are saying is ridiculous. The man has bigger balls then all these females on here combined. He is a piece of **** for doing what he did but I think the permanent damage to his eye and the countless beatings he took after getting caught is punishment enough. It can not be proven he cheated in any other fight then the one he got caught in. Cotto Cintron and all the other fighters he beat are doing well now.

Lol why are people acting like he gave him a beating? A. Beating is what margs gave jotto their first fight or what pac gave cotto. Or what shane and pac gave tony. Cotto only fcked up margs bc of what pac did.

I will miss his fights. I never bought into him being a glove loader in his whole career. Frankly his heart and tenacity made for very entertaining fights. And at one point he had the best "bad guy" persona in the sport. His fight against Cotto and Williams were some of the best I saw the past decade.

Everybody makes mistakes, and there was no evidence of him cheating except for the Mosley fight.

Margarito left his heart in that ring everytime he stepped into it. I'll always respect that. I do my best to be brave and to be hard, but Margarito is on a level of bravery and toughness I can only hope to achieve before I leave this earth.
