Freaking Garcia ruined Margarito's career, those dudes have a tendency to make fighters go on when by all reason and common sense they should stop a fight....regardless of what a fighter has to say in protest.....now he wont see anymore 6 figure paychecks simply cause he was too brave for his own good and his trainer to narrow minded to do what's right.

As for Margacheato retiring - Good. He was past it already and he was done being anything of a challenge with that eye. I do hate him for cheating but wishing him a slow and painful death or whatever these Cotto groupies and stans are saying is ridiculous. Pac caused the injury to margaritos eye that made him retire. Pac retired Margarito. Margarito has to give up fighting cos of the injury Pac gave him.
Cotto showed just how bad Pac had injured Margarito. Margarito is retiring cos of what pac did to him not what cotto did to him. Cotto was margaritos last fight, but Pac retired Margarito so Pac feels guilty he had to retire Margarito.

I see what you are saying. Pacquiao did put a beating on Margarito's face. Margarito was never taught how to block or slip punches. I think if Cotto would have sat on his punches with all of his power instead of being on the move from Margarito, then he could have stopped him like Mosley. Shane even said Cotto hits harder than Margarito. Cotto just never was able to deal with pressure properly.

In reality, Margarito's eye dameage was started by Cotto's during thier first fight. Antonio was bleeding thru his eye by the mid of the first fight, that is when the damage was first seen. Towards the end of the first fight, you could see the steady flow of blood dripping from his right eye.

There are several documented quotes from at least two fighters saying that it felt like they were being hit with bricks when fighting Margarito, and this was BEFORE he been caught by the Mosley team.

He is a certified cheater, with no integrity and a disgrace to the great Mexican warriors and all boxers alike.

Margarito ruined Cotto, damaged him, and who knows, may be Miguel carreer would turned to be even more succesfull.

Who he beat after his last "successful fight" vs Miguel? Not a single good boxer.
