How bout Angel Garcia ;-) Serioulsy though I think Schaefer is right although thats not the reason he lost and Khan would be the last person to blame the trainer. He's already gone on the record to say its his own fault for getting caught.

Amir Khan has taken full responsibility for his defeat to Danny Garcia last weekend - but still implied changes could be afoot.
Khan told Sky Sports he was not blaming trainer Freddie Roach for the loss that saw him part once more with the WBA light-welterweight title.
The Briton had earlier told The Mirror that perhaps being number two to Manny Pacquiao in Roach's Wild Card gym was not such a good thing after all.
And while re-iterated those sentiments, he insisted the blame for the fourth-round stoppage lay entirely at his own door.
"Freddie's a great trainer. I'm taking the whole blame, it was my fault," he said. "There are a few things we shouldn't have done in training camp and could have done differently, but me and Freddie will sit down and talk through it.
"But I was the one in the ring, I'm the one making the mistakes and I'm not blaming anyone. My team did a great job and I'm not pointing the finger at anyone."
Regarding his future relationship with Roach, he added: "I'm going to look at my options, sit down with my team this week. At the moment I'm happy with Freddie but there are a few things that I want to change.
"I'm going to speak to my team, see how they feel about things, and take it from there. It's not something I'm going to jump in and make a decision (about). I'm going to take my time, maybe watch the fight a few more times, see where I need improve and see if Freddie can improve me.
"If I do pick another trainer I need a trainer who can take me to where I want to be."

What I don't understand is as a professional fighter you know what your weaknesses are when you watch tape. So how can you continue to go to the gym and allow your trainer work on things that are not the problem. That is the fighter as well as the trainer's fault. Just doesn't makes sense to continue to focus on things that are not weaknesses in your fight game.

Other fighters seem to make do with sharing their trainers time with other fighters. What is this with the "only precious little me syndrome"? As a fighter you need to be self reliant. When you are in the ring the trainers won't protect you from the hammers from the likes of Garcia. Surely you only need to be shown something a few times then practice and learn it. There is something wrong with you if you need a trainer around you all the time. Either the trainer is not teaching him right or he is so thick that he can not remember what he is told.
This seems to be the latest excuse that and the lucky punch. He had one on one training with Rubio and got filled in by Prescott. What he needs to fix is his deficiencies and grow up.

Khan might as well just go with a new trainer. Have a sit down with Roach for what? Khan wants to fight in December, Pacquiao will be fighting in November, so there is already a conflict right there in regards to Roach's ability to give Khan 100% attention for his next fight because camps are 8 weeks or 2 months and Manny is numero uno! Khan needs to go with a trainer who is defensively oriented if he wants any chance to revive his career and more importantly a new conditioning coach! He looked like the Khan of old with that big upper body and skinny legs and came in a 148 which was way too low, he should also strengthen his neck like Floyd does so he can absorb shots better. Had Ariza been in the corner I think Khan would have survived.

Khan's biggest problem is his stance. His right foot is too far behind his left. As a result, he can't turn his hips through his punches, particularly when he throws a right cross. He simply has no power on that punch because he has no hip rotation.
