    The weight classes surrounding the 130 lb. division are loaded with talent and star potential. The problem is finding that right balance in the 130 lb. division itself.

    It was hoped that Adrien Broner would stick around long enough to make for some mouthwatering matchups. Alas, the 22-year unbeaten star insists that Saturday’s showdown with Vicente Escobedo will be his last as a 130 lb. fighter.

      Why doesn't he fight a top 5 fighter before moving up? At least unify no? SMH at his run in this division. Literally picked up a belt and went up a division.

      I was really hoping uchiyama would be persuaded over to the states to fight Broner. But oh well another fight bites the dust

          Highly unlikely but I would love to see Marquez spark him out at 140.

              He moving up to 135 but wants to fight Gamboa? Does that mean Gamboa going to go up 2 weight divisions when he returns to the ring?

                      Well Gamboa was going to go there for rios so I guess he's cool with it. But @ 130 or 135 doesn't bother me that's a fight I want to see!!

                                  what else is there for him to do? he's already cleaned out the division. it's either retirement or move up.
