Former WBO cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli has been given a six-month anti-doping suspension, UK Anti-Doping have confirmed.

The 31-year-old Welshman, best known for surrendering his title to David Haye in 2008, tested positive for methylhexaneamine (MHA) on March 23 following a win over Shane McPhilbin.

i dont think they are steroids but if they were it would be a good advertisement not to take them as mcphilbin had him out on his feet when the round ended 40secs earlier now if thats what peds do for you every fighter would stay well clear
