Bob didnt give him the bread so he got it himself, makes sense.
These dudes silly as hell. Floyd knew what his promoter was making off of him and he wanted more. What logical human being wouldn't???

Floyd left arum, made a career high fighting delahoya and now makes more money per fight than any x3 top rank fighters.

Who here in their profession doesnt try and make what they think they are worth. Margarito ain't shat and never been shat. Seriously no disrespect but the welterweight division wasn't that great. Where are they now ? Before Williams accident people were asking him to hang his gloves up. Margarita has no skills and no logical idiot can argue otherwise. Floyd told margarita, keep winning and it will be bigger and better for both of us. Margarito couldn't keep winning and he's a known cheater. The truth is no ducking was mentioned until Floyd left . Just the other day arum admitted that he's been protecting Chavez. Does anyone really think he was protecting Floyd from margs and cotto? LMAO!!!!

Martinez coming off of a Chavez victory at 160 would definitely be a legacy fight. It's the only realistic fight where he wouldn't be considered a favorite.

Ive read the TS point and many of the replies. It seems as if the only way certain people will give floyd credit is if he beats someone he is favored not to. Well, which fighter that floyd wasn't going to be favored against did he not fight?

Basically, floyd needs to fight 2 weight classes above 147, against the MW champ, who is one of the 3-5 best fighters in the world, to not be favored. The #2 best fighter in the world would be an underdog. The guy who just beat him, would be an underdog.

Maybe the question should be why is floyd favored against so many great fighters?

Too bad Khan fell, that was the (great) win he needed.

He should KO pac. because Pac is regarded also as the best in this era. If he KOs pac, and I believe he really will, it would shut a lot of questions and then beat martinez at 154 or 160. or chavez if he wins the fight.

ts, dont think so much. All Floyd has to do is take on all comers and fight who is available, the most dangerous available if he can, which he dont, then you can worry after that. Stop diverting your mind.

Ali wasnt favourite against Foreman, but then you got to ask yourself why? Is it triangle theories they used to make foreman favourite cos Foreman beat Frasier so well? But then you got to ask yourself why should foreman be favourite against someone who floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee and was the greatest of all times, whereas foreman was slow and had mummy footwork? In hindsight youd never bet against Ali.

A lot of floyd is based on delusion. Why bet against Pac against Floyd when he beats everyone better than Floyd.

Tell us who would have been favored over floyd that he didn't fight?

Stop talking about who would be favoured against Floyd! There have been many overated boxers in the past even way before Floyd, and Floyd is the current one.

There are lots of dangerous fighters that FLoyd could fight but he dont. With Floyd its not a case of my next fight will be the most dangerous opponent in the world we all know that.

Sergio martinez would be one of the most dangerous fights for Floyd, but does FLoyd just say give me Sergio already, not tomorrow, i want him already? Whether Martinez would be favoured against Floyd isnt important, it would be recognized as a grreat win for Floyd just as would Pac.
Khan would have been a very good win for Floyd as well, but Floyd waits so long people beat him to it. Just fight! If your not retired, fight, stop talking and debating and get on with it.
