Do you even know what losing vast amounts of weight does to a fighter?... It drastically effects your stamina, thereby reducing your work rate. Chavez won't be wearing down anyone. Martinez inside 9 rounds. This is child's play for Sergio!

Anybody that thinks Sergio will just destroy Chavez is crazy. People need to forget about that Paul Williams KO that was simply a GOOD punch. Martinez only has 28 KO's out of 53 fights, hell Mayweather has the same amount of KO's with 10 lets fights, so people need to realize that was a GOOD punch but that does not make him a power puncher. Since that fight yes Martinez has won his fights but he hasn't look good through out those fights sometimes needing a KO to win. Outside of Pavlik and Williams, Martinez hasn't faced tough competition only fighting one guy in the top 10 (Matthew Macklin) in his last 3 or 4 fights. I think Sergio is a good fighter but I don't think he's an ELITE fighter.

You are underestimating Martinez' skill. Jr is going to eat a lot of leather while trying to employ his attack to the body and I don't think he can hold up over 12.
