Why is there so much hate for Manny on here?sure he gets overrated but he is a ATG

Sure he has his faults and down falls and limitations.But through all that he has succeeded time after time and beating alot of good strong comp.Sure you can nitpick bout catch weights etc,etc,but he is not the 1st fighter to do this..Hell Leonard fought for 2 belts on 1 night and this is ok.Henry Armstong fought at catch weights.Why all the hate??sure some delusional people on here overrate the hell out of him cause they lack knowledge of the sport.But this guy is a phenomenal fighter who has defied several odds.I for one am glad i had a chance to witness him fight.

This has been discussed here several times. The conclusion: people just like to hate on other accomplishments. They will deny it, but their hate has no justifications. no doubt pac is ATG... overrated? yes.

i have 2 opinions regarding his CW legacy (oscar, cotto, margs, jmm):

1. oscar cherry-picked pac (not pacs fault); cotto only needed to lose 2lbs (which is nothing, compared to dawson dropping down to meet ward); margs was a BS fight (but i wanted to see how pac handled 150s); jmm had the "advantage" with the CW (so no knock on pac)

2. BUT i do have a MAJOR beef with pac getting titles in divisions via CW. i think if he is fighting for a title, he NEEDED to fight at the weight. IMO, they bought those titles & "8th" division record.

im still trying to figure out where all the hate is coming from... if its because of an unfair way of getting his titles? then i agree... but the whole "draining" excuse is overblown and i feel people needed an excuse to latch onto. and once the CW wasnt an issue anymore, they all jumped on the PED bandwagon.

Based on Pac never taking a random test. Peterson and Berto were caught by Vada. When has pac ever taken a Vada or USADA test?

As for Chavez, he's a known cheat. Has been caught before with a masking agent in his system. Also (correct me if I'm wrong) didn't he refuse random drug testing when Sergio asked? Sergio is now getting 40% PPV because Chavez doesn't want random tests. Basically Sergio has been paid off.

Could be completely wrong about the 60/40 split of the ppv but I did read it somewhere. will try to find the link

He doesn't really get too much hate apart from the typical Floyd and Broner fans. The hates mostly comes from him being a Pinoy. They aren't used to of it so their only action is to hate hate hate.
