People do like him. When he beat Pascal he was back-page news.

He is the man. But he's not the type to put himself out there to be a cross-over star.

His previous promoter was fairly poor though. Also Khan is medalist at the Olympics and Haye is now a heavyweight which is still the glamour division for the casual British sports fan). Both guys are fairly gregarious and witty (in Haye's case) and put themselves out there.

Nobody is interested in Brook in the wider context. But Eddie Hearn is promoting him well now and he is fighting at world-level now and on skysports at prime-time.

Tyson Fury, however, is popular now. Ironically, Froch's crappy former promoter is doing a great job with him. He is fighting on terrestrial T.V.

The Olympics will spawn at least 2-3 boxers who will be hyped to the rafters though.

IMO if joe was fighting the calibre opponents Froch has all away from britain then it could have been a different story. The only boring fight ive seen Froch in is against ward. i believe if Froch and Calzaghe ever fought it would be the best british fight ever.

Froch is the best british fighter out there. How can you state he wont put himself out there! He fought away from home more than Calzaghe! He fought kessler in denmark, ward and johnson in atlantic city and is going to fight bute in canada!

All these Brit hypejobs get KO'ed at the highest level but a dude liek Froch who may lose at the highest level is still a quality fighter with huge balls and an iron chin. Maybe the Brits probably think Froch is Mexican because his chin and testicular fortitude and maybe thats why they don't get behind him?

I don't think you can question British fighters' hearts.

i don't rate kell brook that much, but even i agree he could beat garcia. garcia is an average fighter and he's slow as shit. if garcia doesn't give khan a rematch then he will get killed by someone who is half decent
