Freddy Roach is a **** Trainer!

How could he allow Amir Khan to go out into that 4th-Round trying to stand and fight..He got Cold-Clocked at the end of the 3rd and had no legs..any trainer with sense would say, 'don't do anything ****** this round; go out there and JUST SURVIVE'. But no..I don't even think Roach told em to even use the jab at all..Roach isn't that great of a trainer, other than pacquiao whats his coaching accalades..someone let me know

Pacquiao is naturally talented as well. As far as I know, Roach only does pad work.

But then again Chavez Jr has improved pretty well.

khan's legs were gone in that 4th round...no amount of strategy from his corner could save him from getting ktfo.

Roach told him to tie him up..he didn't tell him to go toe to toe and slug after he was hurt..he clearly said, I need you to go out there and tie him up...Khan's pride got him rocked quite a few times..he better thank God it wasn't at 135lbs or that left hook would've put him to sleep!..

I think roach is gettif unfairly ****ted on. The game plan was to jab and counter Garcia because he is open to be countered. But AK wanted the KO. No fault on Roach part

Many top fighters have trained with Roach very few stayed with him more than a few fights. That tells me that they didn't think he was all that great.

Not true, i woulda told em to use the jab and hold on for as long as he can every chance he can..And also Khan has terrible defense and footwork when he is punching..

Roach has got the whos who who have trained with him so he is good at what he does, and if that is to produce offensively sound fighters then so be it.

But overated he may well be, but whos to really say and how do you assess and judge? He has a production line of challengers and champions who come time after time so that says a lot.
But maybe defensive minded trainers need a shout of whos the best, manny steward is someone i rate quite high, although he didnt help Hamed much when he was losing to barrera.

But khan still trying to fight and ko Garcia when hes on shaky legs is asking for trouble and asking for a dynamite ko punch landing on khan.

I wouldn't say he is "****" Overrated By Many? ABSOLUTELY!

But Roach I think works best with BRAWLERS but not so good with Boxers or guys with Natural Abilities like Khan and Linares...Roach is good at getting fighters to OVERACHIEVE then he is to actually getting fighters to live up to their full potential and expectations

he really did not know what to do with Jorge Linares Talent, seems like he just makes those guys focus on Offensive Like Pacquiao and the Gameplan is just to overwhelm your opponent with your Speed like Pacquiao

All of his fighters have the same weaknesses, **** defense and can't fight inside and can't really take body punches
