Former champion Robert Guerrero was recently welcomed to the latest edition of The Boxing Lab, BoxingScene.com's official audio show. On July 28th, the three division champion will move up to the welterweight division to face Selcuk Aydin for the WBC's interim title. He said that he plans on staying at the higher weight regardless of the outcome of the fight. He wants to force a mandatory clash with the WBC's full champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

JR will be out of jail and prob will consider a "tune up" fight since he hasnt been active nor training like he normally does, and could most likely look at Guerrero as the tuneup, still honoring his commitment to face his mandatory. Guerrero A Weasel, Ducking Maidana, Looking For Biggest Payday!

Guerrero saying all the right things, but he cancelled his fight with Maidana claiming shoulder surgery, but once he got "healed up", he had no interest rescheduling with Maidana. Now he's pulling "a Tim Bradley", passing on everyone for the sake of a career payday. Ask Guerrero why it wasn't the right thing to do, to immediately reschedule his fight with Maidana, "be a man and do the right thing", as he says calling out Floyd Jr. Maidana was well in to training for Guerrero when he cancelled. Cmon Guerrero, put your money where your mouth is, be a man and do the right thing, fight Maidana now, you weasel.
