    Floor seats

I'm heading to see the Ricky Burns fight in September, never sat on the floor before but was thinking about it this time. I can get tickets that are 20 rows back from the ring, would I struggle to see anything from anyones experience. Want to be quite close, but not keen on paying 75 quid to see a row of heads rather than the action. Cheers!

Well floor seat have a messed up angle and if you aren't in the front row you may very well be staring at the back of the jackass in front of you that refuses to stay seated.

Also wear dark colors~ preferably something you don't care about someone elses blood getting on.

I would go for the first tiered seats. The Glasgow Secc isn't a big venue so you won't be far from the ring and the tiered seats takes away the problem of everyone in front blocking your view.

I still recommend sitting on the floor once for any boxing fan though mainly because you get to see the fight kind of like a judge, a judge has the better view but you still get the same effect.

        It is very enlightening.

Floor seats 20 rows back will be fine. People don't really get in the way of the viewing, but it's annoying to hear dumb ****s who knows FA about boxing talk.

it all depends on the venue, and they all go from seat to seat. if you're in the center of the ring and you're close the best spot to be is ringside. the closer the better.

if you're off of a corner and far enough away being on the floor level can be a detriment. in those situations you are better off being a few rows off of the floor.

additionally, you get the realest feel for what boxing is like when you're actually on the floor level and ringside. you will be mixed in with the people that make boxing up. if you're at a big enough fight (or you know your local scene well enough,) you will see EVERYBODY

it's a small ass world, boxing. enjoy.
