Why does it matter to Vanes regarding Canelo when all Vanes has to do is win the Lara fight and he fights Canelo? Sounds like he is not sure he will win the Lara fight and that is the source of his frustration for not getting the Canelo fight by now. He is one fight away from Canelo. I guess that one fight has him concerned.Comment

It hasn't been determined if Vanes got his guarantee in writing, but he acts like he did because he seemed eager recently when in the past he had not been eager to fight Lara. He said everything is worked out. What is worked out? The written guarantee?Comment

This is one of the funniest things I've read in a while!
Possibly the most hypocritical thing anyone has ever said.
Ducktryosyan has fought so many bums he's banned from going within 50 feet of a soup kitchen.
Who was Ryan Davis? Who were those other guys on losing streaks? Some drained or coming off layoffs...
He's got into title contention by fighting a truckload o'bums and Saul Romain... That's literally his only decent-ish fight, turned down Kirkland to fight a journeyman nobody. The doctors even found out this bum had a peg-leg or something just before the fight and called it off for health reasons.
Canelo's last few fights against Gomez, Cintron and Old ass Mosley are better than the Duck's whole career!
The guy is a joke.
Canelo needs to step it up too though. I know Lopez wasn't the first choice, but at least you could sell Canelo vs Trout or K9 as legit fights.
