Two weeks ago, Warrington’s Rocky Fielding moved to 11-0 (5) on the undercard of Kell Brook versus Carson Jones, courtesy of a single round stoppage of Hungary’s Ferenc Hafner, who dropped to 12-2 (9). Fielding, nicknamed the “Rocky From Stocky”, was taking part his first outing since leaving Frank Warren Promotions for Matchroom Sports and he wasted no time in dispatching his southpaw foe after just over two-minutes of one-sided action.

I first saw Rocky on the Prizefighter when he became the first fighter to win all three bouts by Kayo despite coming in at a few days notice & having NO knockouts in his pro career up to that point.

And I fell in love (in a non gay, fan type of thing).

Not saying he's world class but he's a nice enough bloke & I hope he gets to at least European level.

Bit out of order him being 14 pounds heavier than his opponent. Can you imagine the uproar if a British fighter (non heavyweight) went abroad & the same thing happened? Actually it probably does for our journeymen so forget that last part.

He needs more exposure which means fighting in London & abroad. He should also be area champion by now.
