Haye certainly brings attention to the HW scene, which is nice, but he is overrated. He talks so much **** and highlights himself to the roof that people begin to ride his BS. I`m not saying he is not good, just not outstanding like he spreads.

Haye was all free, willing and open and he could not get a deal to fight Vitali, even after close to 6 months of negotiations. Haye`s team should revisit this option, keep it open, but not waste any time on it.

Povetking, Adamek are the names Haye should go for right now, it`s the best way apart from Vitali and much easier to make. There is certainly an intention to pair up Povetkin and Haye next, otherwise they would no have pushed to put both on the same card in London. After the KO, Sauerland may shy away though.

I'd love to see Povetkin vs Haye. I'd love to see Adamek vs Haye, or even Mitchell vs Haye. I don't think there is a heavyweight other than the Klit's than can beat him. His problem is he needed Wlad to come in reckless and give him a chance to counter and Wlad was never going to do that and it lead to a boring fight. You had 2 guys who wanted to make the other come them and that leads to a turd. Haye isn't naturally big enough to be the same come forward pressure fighter he was at cruiser. I was always amused by the fact everyone really believed he was going to come out wild and try to KO Wlad early. It should have been obvious what he wanted to do when you watched the Valuev fight. The problem is Wlad is much better and smart enough not to walk right into Haye's traps. I think he'd stand a better chance against Vitali, but we'll probably never know. Vitali doesn't have nearly the technical skill of Wlad, and he would pressure and really try to KO Haye unlike Wlad who was content to jab and win even though he talked just as much junk about KO'ing him.

Haye has no real intentions of making a name or legacy at HW. He just wants a big payday against either brother and he'll retire again.

Shame, would love to see him fight Arreola > Adamek > Povetkin then a Klit.

          Agreed.

Haye did awful against Wlad. Wlad did awful against Haye. Wlad won because of his jabs. You can't really call that domination. Wlad did win, but it was a disappointing fight for both of them, and many of those rounds were close because of the lack of output.

If Haye wins the WBC belt, i'm sure he'd go straight for the rematch with Wlad. He knows his gameplan was wrong that night, and knows that fight is winnable. I'm not sure Wlad would take the fight, even if there was a belt on the table for Wlad because he knows Haye was by far his hardest opponent in recent times. I'm not satisfied that the Haye-Wlad fight showed who was the better fighter that night.

Ofc Haye haters will disagree. Im not nuthugging at all, i'm a Haye fan, but that's my take.

He's a great person to have in a dull division, but the lack of quality opposition makes it somewhat irrelevant.

Just like a Klitschko beating Arreola, Adamek or whoever, it does nothing for Haye to beat guys who are clearly not as good as him. The only win that can mean anything would be a Klitschko, which would indeed be a big thing for Haye.

Boxing needs David Haye. No doubt about it. A fight with Vitali or a rematch with Wladimir in England is needed.

Because Haye wasnt doing anything against Wlad, he didnt even throw that many punches, and say what u want about his toe, but that toe was FUGGGED UP...It is what it is
