That sucks. It's no secret I'm no Khan fan, but he shouldn't feel the need to apologize to anybody, family and fans included. This is boxing, it takes balls just stepping into that ring, and especially fighting on sheer will alone like Khan did in rounds 3 and 4 when his legs had clearly betrayed him. Sometimes you just get hit with shots you didn't seem coming and you can't recover from it, **** happens.

Why would he apologize? He got caught. Like the end of that said, that's boxing for you. Sure it is disappointing to his fans that he isn't as good as they want him to be, but that's all.

Agreed.

Instead of worrying about what the people who weren't taking the punches are thinking he should focus on his flaws as a fighter and learn to correct them. I think Robert Garcia could do a good job of teaching him how to fight on the inside properly, but he still has a colossal obstacle to overcome with that chin of his.

I think he is sorry because he has a lot of fans that support him. He was upset at the way Garcia treated him and he did promise to KO Danny. His fans are very loyal, 4K for the Pete rematch, I believe less for Danny because it's not easy to book holidays on short notice or to cancel them with 10 days notice either. However some still made the trip and it is not cheap to fly over to Vegas, especially in the recession.

I think maybe he didn't need to say sorry but perhaps he is upset and wanted to say thank you for the support.
