    BoxingScene.com has been advised that the final televised slot on Golden Boy's big Showtime televised quadrupleheader, taking place on September 15th at the MGM Grand, will likely be filled by undefeated WBC super bantamweight champion Abner Mares (24-0, 13KOs) versus an opponent that will be announced at Golden Boy's press conference on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

                  word. I think that's the perfect line of fights for mares at this stage. He's had an incredible run these last two years.
