    By Jake Donovan - Hernan ‘Tyson’ Marquez survived a scare in barely outlasting Fernando Lumacad in their main event Saturday evening in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico. Scores were 95-95 even and 97-94 (twice) according to e-mailed reports from ringside to Boxingscene.com.

    It was an absolutely terrible fight. Both men were nearly close to inactive, doing almost nothing during the entire fight. I had Marquez winning 96-94, in which the rounds won by each fighters were only because they were a little more active than the opposition.

          I don't disagree at all. Not sure how Marquez goes from the FOTY-level war w/ Concepcion in their 1st fight last year, to something like this. Dude almost always makes for great fights, but this definitely was not one.

          I couldn't believe how lopsided the announcers had it. Was a close fight all the way and Marquez nearly blew it in the end.
