think there should be a weight between LHW and cruiser or cruiser and HW ive always found this interesting considering its the highest jump in any weight division,example:175-190 then 191-205,then 205 could be hw i dunno just want some opinions..

hmm..im going to start off with no, but thats an interesting thought. the problem is, there are WAY to many divisions today, and that is part of the reason boxing is in a little, shall we say, recession at the moment (with many other contribuiting factors as well)Originally posted by hotbox23think there should be a weight between LHW and cruiser or cruiser and HW ive always found this interesting considering its the highest jump in any weight division,example:175-190 then 191-205,then 205 could be hw i dunno just want some opinions..
the only defense i have for that is that it seems as though the bigger you are, the less a few pounds affects you. like today, in the hw division, we have guys like byrd weighing in at 210, and guys like ruiz who come in at 240, but that 30 pound difference,(4 weight classes) makes little to no difference in their fights
thats the best i can come up with rite now...Comment

nope. if we make more divisions for the big slobs it will only make it more boring to watch their slow lumbering asses when there is one guy who is good enough to beat them all. or we could make another heavy division for james toney to dominate.Comment
