If he struggles vs Garcia, it's going to be very hard to sell the general public on him beating Mayweather. Canelo might get the call if Khan struggles or loses tomorrow night.

Mayweather will not fight Amir Khan if Khan struggles, looks unimpressive or beats Garcia via a controversial decision. now if this fight is the back and forth war I expect it to be Khan will need a KO or TKO win. I expect Khan knows this and will try his hardest to fight the fight of his life vs a very game opponent if he wants to get this W and fight Mayweather after he leaves COUNTY Jail & get the highest pay day he will ever get.

I don't think Mayweather will fight Khan anyway. Khan is all speed and very little substance. His speed may win him a few rounds against Floyd, but that is all. Khan has looked good against Paulie Malignaggi and a washed up Judah - that's not the resume of a p4p fighter. He struggled with Maidana, who was schooled by Devon Alexander(someone who I don't rate particularly highly) and was rocked repeatedly by Peterson, who is not all that big a puncher(say what you want about PEDS, LP still showed us all that Khan can't fight a good pressure fighter).

I think Khan should only get the Mayweather fight if he beats Bradley and maybe one other top welterweight(and shows true substance in the process) - then he'll have earned his shot.

I dont think he struggled vs Maidana, he had a few tough rounds that tested him but he didnt struggle....
